The state of health care in rural Tanzania is challenging.  For that reason Help for Ntoma extended its support to the local Health Clinic / Dispensary.  Some of the issues that the rural health care facilities have to deal with include:

 -  Limited financial resources

 -  Lack of trained health care professionals in the country overall

 -  Challenges to attract and retain trained professionals

 -  Limited access to HIV / AIDS and malaria treatments

 -  Lack of sufficient supply of vital medications

 -  Lack of basic medical equipment and related supplies

 -  Unreliable electricity to operate equipment and perform surgeries

 -  Insufficient supply with clean water

Over the last few years, Help for Ntoma has provided significant funds to the Health Clinic to expand and improve its operations and effectiveness to continue to provide basic medical services to the community
